About the event
MDHA's President Michelle Miles will be presenting on vaping issues in dental care and public health.
Michelle D. Miles, RDH, BS, MS, is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at the College of Dentistry, University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She earned her MS in Health Promotion & Education at Mississippi State University in 2014, and her BS in dental hygiene at UTHSC. Ms. Miles is the Course Director for Clinic Theory I, Pre-Clinical Lab, Dental Materials, and Community Dental Health, as well as, the Student ADHA advisor. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member at UTHSC, she was adjunct clinical faculty and was employed in private dental practice. She has been in the dental profession for over 30 years both as an assistant and hygienist.
