About the event
Dr. Jeffrey H. Brooks is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis. He chairs both the predoctoral oral surgery curriculum and the residency training program, with a focused emphasis on patient safety, sedation practices, and emergency management in the dental setting.
Dr. Brooks is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and multiple international oral and maxillofacial surgery organizations.
He maintains an active surgical practice and serves on the oral and maxillofacial surgery team at a Level I trauma center, where he manages complex facial trauma and medically compromised patients.
